Little tasks, big project.
A renovation is a hundred little tasks in the right order. So is a move, a build, or the long list of fixes around the house. Todomino is the to-do list that keeps them in order: say what depends on what, and the list sorts itself as you tick things off.
Open Todomino Sign inHow it works
- Every task gets an ID from its category (D4 for Drywall, F2 for Lights), so you can refer to it anywhere.
- Tell a task what it waits on and it shows as Blocked until those are done. Tick one off and whatever was waiting on it becomes Ready, like dominoes.
- Due dates raise a task's priority as they approach, so the list sorts itself as the week goes by.
- Do now asks how much time you have and shows the Ready tasks that fit, most important first. One little thing at a time.
Add a task in one line
Type Prime the hallway 2.5h fri !! after D6 #drywall @sam and Todomino understands the hours, the due date, the priority, the dependency, the category and who it's for. Chips show what it understood as you type.
Remember how you fixed it
Each task has a description and notes: what was wrong, what you did, the parts, the links. Add photos from the camera. Search finds it all later, and a task shows notes from similar tasks in the list, so you don't solve the same problem twice.
See where you stand
Progress shows what got done each week, what's ready, blocked and done, and a bar per category. Undo and redo take back any change (shake to undo on an iPhone), and deleted tasks wait 30 days before they're gone.
Work together, anywhere
Share a list with someone, assign tasks to each other, and you both edit it. The same lists are on the web and in Todomino for iPhone and iPad, so you can plan at the desk and tick things off at the job. Start from a spreadsheet by importing a CSV, and export or print the list any time.
The name
To-do, domino, and a little of both. Mino is the small thing; the domino is the order they fall in.
